GENERAL INFORMATION

PE WAIVER

FOR 9TH AND 10th GRADE STUDENTS AT FWPA

Students in Washington State must earn 1.5 credits of Physical Education as a graduation requirement.  Credit cannot be earned prior to 9th grade.

TO NOTE: Federal Way Public Academy does not offer PE classes.  Families/scholars who choice into FWPA will need to satisfy the graduation requirement through one or more options below:

OPTION #1 PARTICIPATION IN SPORTS AT RESIDENT SCHOOL

OPTION #2  PARTICIPATION IN SELECT, CLUB, OR OTHER SANCTIONED SPORT

OPTION #3 COMPLETE PE HOURS AFTER LEAVING FWPA (either at high school or at Running Start)
